SCALEX is a liquid inhibited acid designed for removing rust and scale from metal surfaces. SCALEX, due to the inhibitor, is safer that raw acids such as hydrochloric and sulphuric.
SCALEX is used undiluted with water at concentrations ranging from 5% to 20% by volume. Solutions can be used cold or heated, normally up to 450C for increased activity.
